Amplifier for Panasonic home cinema speaker system

I have "inherited" a set of 5 Panasonic speakers, but with no amplifier. The set comprises 1 x centre speaker (SB-PC920 rated at 270W), 2 x front speakers (SB-PC921 rated at 170W) and 2 x rear speakers (rated at 70W). All 5 speakers are 4ohm. My current surround-sound amp doesn't adequately drive the speakers. What amp would you recommend to replace my current amp?

What amplifier do you have? You may be able to get by setting your amp. to 6-Ohm; if you have this option available on your Amplifier; but check with your amplifier's service personnel first.

One thing to consider is: How hard (loud) do you plan to drive your speakers. I imagine "over-drive" could pose a problem, and possibly damage your Amplifier, and/or speakers; check this out with your amplifier's service personnel also.
