How to connect a Sony DAV-S880 to Samsung UE40D6530 3D HD LED TV

I have tried connecting the above but have had no joy. Currently I have the optical cable connected and the component video out cables connected. The only thing that does not work is the dvd picture is green coloured, other than that everything else seems fine.
