How to get Freeview HD on Sony 37" KDL-37EX503?

Just purchased a Sony 37" KDL-37EX503 with built in Freeview HD and I already have Sky but not the HD package. How is the best way to get the FREE HD channels now? I am using scart connections.

Hi

Ok, so you are connecting your Sky TV box direct to your TV via SCART?

That's ok. Usually HDMI is a better way of connecting modern AV devices, but I believe the non-HD Sky boxes don't have HDMI - so you have no choice!

To get the Freeview HD channels, you will need to connect a standard TV aerial feed to the aerial connection on the back of the TV. Hopefully you still have one of these on the roof?

To use the Freeview HD, change the TVs input source to 'Digital Tuner' (or words to that effect). You can do this with the remote control. It will detect the available channels first and then you should get an EPG to select channels.

To watch Sky, change the TV input to SCART (it may called something like AV1).

Hope that helps.
