Is my LG 32LG2000 LCD TV full RGB for ps3?

I have the LG 32LG2000 LCD TV. I'm just wondering if it is full rgb supported for my ps3?

Interesting question. To be honest I didn't have a clue, and so I did a little research on this myself.

I found these forum posts which may help.

This one summarises the issue of Full RGB support in TVs - and provides a test file to download so you can check for yourself:

PS3 and RGB Full Explained

Or there's another test you can do here:

RGB Full Test

This one also discusses the issue and if it is worth using:

Full Range RGB Discussion

If you can't be bothered to read all that, then the short summary is that you can turn it on and decide for yourself if it looks better on your TV - but that with most sources the extra colours aren't even encoded, so it won't make any difference. This setting appears to be more for professional PC monitors rather than consumer TVs. So leave the PS3 HDMI RGB setting on limited, and adjust the brightness/contrast of your TV so it looks good.

Can't find the manual for your TV so I don't know if there is some information on this issue in there.

All the best.
