Hi

There are a number of suitable ceiling mounts on the market that would suit your needs.

For most people, a wall mount or floor stand is the usual method of securing their flat screen TV. One of the main reasons why these are preferred in the home is that they can are fairly unobtrusive - and some stands can even be a good looking piece of furniture that will fit well into the décor of your room.

However, as you have found in your case, there are limitations to where you can position the TV when using a standard wall mount. A stand can sometimes be more flexible, but that is still limited by the floor space you have in your room.

The advantage of a ceiling mount is that you can place your TV almost anywhere in the room - even somewhere in the middle of the room if that suits the layout of your space. As you have mentioned, it can also allow you to place the TV in difficult corners - or near walls that don't align very easily with your viewing position.

You can find a good example of a ceiling TV stand here - Universal Flat Panel TV Ceiling Mount Bracket. Anything along these lines should suffice. Just make sure the one you buy will support the weight and size of your TV.

The disadvantages of these types of mounts are they can sometimes look ugly in a room - compared to wall mounts or floor stands - and that you must make sure your ceiling is strong enough to hold the weight of the TV and mount.

Hope that helps.
